Ordinary decorative Plyboard was till recently available only in 4 ply construction, which is of poor quality and is technically inferior. Donear introduced for the first time a revolutionary concept in Plyboard technology. 6 ply construction in 4mm thickness. This constitution is 2.5 times stronger than that of ordinary Plyboard. By doing away with the use of commercial ply or block boards in paneling jobs it helps save as much as 50% on woodwork. It also provides a tight gripping surface for heavy nail application jobs and dimensional stability.
Introduction of PCT Technology in India
This is the ultimate solution in problems of inferior finish of Plyboard in the country. Pre-Press Calibration Technology (PCT), pioneered by Donear is an outcome of years of rigid us R & D efforts. It involves giving individual attention to key components of the ply to make the finish products flawless. At Donear, such components like the base and face are calibrated and cold pressed on hi-tech machines before high density bonding is done. This unique method, applied only by Donear, ensures uniform thickness to the Plyboard, makes it warp less and imparts extra strength to the Plyboard which is up to 1.5 times more stronger than the ordinary Plyboard.
